Miracles happen every day; some people don’t think so, but they do.” I marvel at the miracles that are performed in the name of God, by young modern-day prophets like Edd Branson leader of Jesus Generation International Ministries.
Indeed, God answers the prayers of the saints. Brace yourself! the lady in the pictures below came to church looking like she was six months pregnant. Some of you may be saying, “That was a trick!” I will answer you like this, “Many people are genuinely seeking divine healing, because what afflicts them is not ordinary but spiritual and therefore requires miracles to address the said affliction!”
What is a Miracle?
As a Christian author, I have become known as a defender of modern day prophets, and I have been asked by several people about the authenticity of the miracles and wonders typically performed by prophets. So the preliminary question often asked is, what is a miracle? We all have different definitions, ideas, and beliefs about miracles. Maybe the Merriam-Webster Dictionary can give us a working definition for this word.
Miracle: An extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs; an extremely outstanding or unusual event, thing, or accomplishment.
What happened at Jesus Generation International Ministries, when the woman who came to church with a belly that looked like she was pregnant and got a prophetic word from Prophet Edd Branson, stating that what was in her belly was not a child, but, water was indeed a miracle. Many have asked me this question do miracles still happen today?
Do miracles still happen?
The answer to the question, is; Yes. Miracles happen every day, all day long. God still has a covenant with his children. God still heals the sick. The almighty God still wants to show unbelievers that he is real and that he loves them. The church is still praying and believing God for miracles. God still wants to show us his glory.
The same God who said to us in the book of Isaiah 43:19: “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” I don’t know about you but the GOD I worship is in the business of miracles, He continues through his prophets to manifest divine interventions in the lives of His children in extremely outstanding and unusual ways. What Prophet Edd Branson did for that woman is one such act of God’s love demonstrated.
God loves us and that is unquestioned. In fact, Paul said, “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39) I challenge everyone who is reading this article to open your spiritual eyes and watch God do miracles that will blow your natural mind and take you on the journey of your life. I can tell you from experience… there is never a boring day with God. He is a Father that loves to give his children good gifts.
A miracle healing water gushed out
The poor lady had an issue that was unnatural. Water filled her belly and it took that encounter with an anointed prophet of God to bring about her healing. A simple prayer from prophet Edd, resulted in water gushing out of her and she was healed. The truth is the woman had a problem that needed divine intervention. She came to a prophet and a prayer was said it certainly was a miracle to all who witnessed it and joined the prophet in that fervent prayer to free the lady from whatever it is that caused water to swell up her belly.
In my view, the problem – and why we are hesitant to believe in miracles – is two-fold. The first problem is that not only miracles are still happening today, they are too common. The natural course of events is changed from what would have been, all the time.
We enjoy miracles courtesy of the prayers of the saints
People wake up from comas after years, fatal illnesses disappear, people nearly die in car crashes and then something changes. Maybe God had a hand in getting you up alive this morning and getting you to work, school or to college safely this morning. When a prayer is said by a saint, indeed, the natural course of events is changed.
I strongly believe that it is because of the prayers of saints, said on our behalf, that many of us enjoy many miracles, that we do not even acknowledge. Many of which happen daily in our lives.
When we define miracles more broadly, they are so common we don’t see them. It’s like a fish looking around the rock beds and seaweed, not even noticing the water. It’s like looking out the window at a garden; at the flowers, trees, and birds, and not even noticing the glass.
Personally, these past few months I have contemplated my definition and recognition of the miracles I have heard about and encountered (which may or may not be God’s definition). And my understanding and faith in the magical, miraculous wonders of God, Divine Reason, has expanded and grown. For that I am thankful. I thank God for raising miracle workers and prophets such as Prophet Edd Branson, many who have gone to him and received healing from this man of God will attest that the ‘specialist’, as he is affectionately known is indeed, a blessing sent from God.
